Lee-hom Wang Being Busy Promoting his Upcoming Film and Album

Lee-hom Wang (王力宏)’s been busying promoting his directorial debut “Love in Disguise”, a film about a superstar starring Wang disguised himself as an undergraduate at a music conservatory in order to chase the girl he loves, called Song Xiaoqing, starring Liu Yifei (刘亦菲) who was dubbed as the purest actress by netizens.

Recently, it was reported Wang Lee-hom finally agreed to appear on a Taiwan TV show, Here Comes Kang Xi (康熙來了), hosted by Xiao S, at the invitation of Chen Handian (陈汉典), who is both Wang’s fellew actor in the film “Love in Disguise” and the program’s prostege. Lee-hom’s last appearance on this program was three years ago, where he was grilled by Xiao S about his rumored girlfriend, the actress Shu Qi (舒淇). After that, Lee-hom’s management team was unhappy, claiming to the public that Xiao S showed no respect and Lee-hom would never appear on the show again. So the program should thank Chen Handian this time to have Lee-hom back on their show again.

It loosk Lee-hom was totally tied up to a busy schedule. On July 25, Lee-hom held a sing event in Taipei too to promote his upcoming album, “18 Martial Arts”, scheduled to release on July 31. Despite heavy rain, thousands of fans from Mainland, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and other places came to the event to support their idol. Lee-hom’s good friend, Vivian Hsu, who wrote the lyrics for his latest single, also arrived as a guest to show her support, and presented him a red high-heel shoe shaped telephone that she specially picked in Tokyo for him as a gift, with a good wish that Lee-Hom will find his love soon.
