At approximately 10pm, April 26, notorious officers of Chengguan (城管, City Urban Administrative and Law Enforcement Bureau) got in a fight with several young men when they were removing vendors and hawkers on the north road of the bus station, Changsha city (长沙). The incident drew hundreds of passers by to watch and get involved.

According to eye-witnesses, several young men were buying drinks at a food shop near the north road of the bus station at around 10pm. Because the shop owner placed the refrigerator outside the shop, Chengguan officers were just there trying to remove it. But the young men wanted to get the drinks first before they removed the refrigerator, and finally they got in a fight.

The incident attracted passers-by to gather and watch. When reporters arrived at the scene, there were around four to five hundreds of citizens blocking Chengguan officers and their car. It lasted till 12pm, and policemen were sent there to maintain the order too. But the citizens did not give up, and kept gathering around Chengguan officers’ car to want them to hang over the officers who attacked the young men, and make apology.
