On July 14, a local newspaper of Jiangsu published an article titled “A fresh graduate from China University of Political Science and Law (中国政法大学, one well known university in China) becomes homeless as he failed to find a job”, attracting a lot of attention these days.
The article tells a story that a man, surnamed Huang, who just graduated from China University of Political Science and Law this June, wanted to go back to his hometown in Fujian (福建) to find a job, but mistakenly arrived in Nanchang (南昌) instead because he got the wrong train ticket accidentally. Due to his introvert personality and inability to communicate with others, he failed to find work and became homeless in Nanchang without the support. And because of the hot weather and bad food he ate, Huang finally collapsed on a street some day. It was lucky that the passers by found him and called the police.
At that day, Propaganda Department of China University of Political Science and Law responded by releasing a statement on the University’s BBS that after investigation, the man was confirmed to be a recent graduate from the school and the school’s relevant departments are investigating the news reported.
The propaganda department also stated that no matter where the graduates is, the University will always care about his life and health, and will send teachers to visit him and offer the necessary helps.
